How consent works

  1. Step 1

    The person calls the firm

    During an inbound call about a legal inquiry, Lawgical’s AI assistant asks whether the caller would like to receive SMS messages.

  2. Step 2

    The caller hears the disclosure

    The assistant reads the complete consent disclosure below, including message frequency, rates, STOP and HELP instructions, and the Terms and Privacy Policy links.

  3. Step 3

    Clear affirmative consent is required

    The caller must clearly say “Yes,” “I agree,” or otherwise give an unambiguous affirmative response. Silence, an unclear answer, or a decline does not enroll the caller; no SMS is sent.

  4. Step 4

    Consent is recorded

    The call recording or transcript is retained as evidence of the disclosure and affirmative consent. The person receives an opt-in confirmation. Consent is not a condition of legal services.
